Huge gorse fire in Cornwall may have been sparked by a firework

A huge gorse fire that consumed an entire hillside is believed to have been sparked -
by a rogue FIREWORK.

This dramatic footage shows flames quickly spreading after the Bonfire night incident.

Spectators had gathered to watch the display at the Driftwood Spars pub in St Agnes, Cornwall, and one witness reported how a firework was blown off course and into the hillside.

It took the emergency services around four hours to put out the blaze and some engines struggled to reach the scene as people visiting the display had parked on the narrow lane leading down to the beach.
