The Kern County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man in a bulletproof vest was seen knocking on doors in northwest Bakersfield on Saturday morning. KCSO says a Hispanic man in his mid-30's wearing a light colored baseball cap, a white bulletproof vest and gray pants was seen in the area of Calloway and Norris Road around 12:15 a.m. knocking on doors. It's unknown if the subject was armed, but due to what he was wearing KCSOÂ is wanting the public to be aware.
