The Marvels Just Sank the MCU | Disney and Marvel are Changing Course

Disney and Marvel Studios are radically changing course with how they produce future MCU projects following a disastrous year for the once great brand.

Long time fans and general audience have grown tired of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and will not habitually go to every new release. This is evident by the latest release from Marvel Studios, The Marvels, which suffered the lowest opening weekend for any movie within the MCU. As it stands it would appear The Marvels will lose hundreds of millions for Disney and Marvel. Even if the studios wanted to continue with what they’re doing it just doesn’t seem economically viable at this time.
