Large Rough Turned Walnut Bowl

I was lucky enough come across the lower section of a large walnut tree on Craigslist a bit back. And since I had put together the outboard tool rest this summer, I figured what better opportunity to put this thing to use. So in this video I show some of the difficulties of working with overly large workpieces on the lathe.
