Motorcycle CRASHED into TRUCK

It was the first nice riding day of the 2023 season, a nice brisk 60 degrees outside. So we decided to go for a nice little cruise to the city. Thats what it was supposed to be at least. We were all a little amped to be riding again and the open roads didn't help. We passed a Charger Hellcat and thought we'd smoke him in a race real quick. He was GAME. I was GAME for a RACE against HELLCAT vid. Didn't think it'd end HORRIBLY WRONG lol. We were a little too AMPED after the race and continued flying down Cicero Ave towards the city. Right past a mall where there's always a lot of traffic. The left two lanes of traffic were stopped while the right lane was still wide open. What we didn't see in enough time was that the left two lanes waving for the semi truck to turn in front of them, because beyond the light in their lanes was more traffic. The SEMI TRUCK turned without checking if the right lane was clear and also without checking that there were no pedestrians crossing the cross walk. Semi turns and stops abruptly because of the cyclist crossing the cross-walk and then my friend slammed into the side of the Cab. I was farther back and tried to warn him so he slowed down to a good enough speed where he was able to survive the accident, but he broke both bones in his arm. The bike wasn't so lucky and it still out of commission. In the end he survived and that's all that matters. We FLED the scene shortly after because F the popo. (3/1/23)
