The Greatest Power Can Be Yours

The Greatest power known, that exact same power is keeping you alive today?

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

That is the greatest exhibition of power that creation has ever known.

Jesus used the same power in The Garden that night. Most scholars agree the band sent by the high priest to arrest Jesus was at least 70 men, appx; 6 to 1

John 18:4-8 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye?5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these go their way:

I bet the first response to Jesus question “Whom seek Ye” was a whole lot different than the second?

The second time they were lying flat on their back, Judas included, I'm sure it was at that point that Peter swung the sword missed his head and cut off his ear?

During this entire encounter Jesus was in complete control as he possessed complete power. Their lives were in his hand.

Joh 10:17-18 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.18a No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.

Php 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

Psalm 23;1-6 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anoints my head with oil; my cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

You are safe in God's power, He has you in the palm of his hand.
