(Note-I believe I mentioned attending the church around 2009 or so, it was around 2008. I apologize it's been a long time!)

For those who are the naysayers of exposing the false preachers, I’ve decided to write a short area so that you can go straight to God’s word for that, so I don’t have to address every person.
God’s word, His holy infallible Bible, DOES state we ARE to expose the false preachers today. WHY? Well, let’s go to the word, shall we?

2 Peter 2
1 But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves.
2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.
3 In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

Such prophets and teachers among us actually divide the body of Christ although many Christians accuse those who expose these people of dividing. They use Ephesians 5: 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Apparently, verse 12 is the primary reason. But you cannot ignore verse 13 that whatever is reproved is the light. Reproved in the Greek text actually means to rebuke. And these false teachers are not above rebuking. And what is manifested is light. We are the light that are bringing these things to light!

Paul called out false teachers by name! 1 Timothy 1:19 (Search the scriptures)
As Christians you are to search the scriptures and follow the examples set for us and contend for the faith!
Jude 1:3 says, “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that you should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.”

1 John 4:1-6
1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,
3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.
4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
5 They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them.
6 We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.
