Walmart Warns of Deflation Despite "Strong Consumer" Narrative

The CEO of Walmart made an ominous warning yesterday on the company's earnings call when he warned that the supposedly "strong and resilient" consumers were exhausted from fighting inflation and are now adjusting their spending patterns and bargain hunting. This will put downward pressure on inflation and could eventually lead to deflation.
