Shhh... Listen, the Body is Wise!

For many of us who have been externally driven most of our lives it can be really difficult for us to actually hear what our body is saying to us. It's easier for us to try to push ourselves and overcome whatever physical limitations may be happening.

Now, being able to overcome laziness, lack of motivation, unhealthy habits, etc. is all great, but sometimes we are physically depleted and our body is just screaming for a break. We need to listen to it when this happens.

We must learn to start tapping into what our body is saying to us. If we did, we could prevent injury, burnout, and just flat out setting ourselves behind by not giving ourselves the rest that we need.

When we feel this way, we must sit in the discomfort of it and take account of what is going on. I mean really listen to what the body is saying to us. Maybe it's telling us that we're overdoing something or we've been pushing ourselves beyond what we should be doing.

Just remember, even machines require TLC in order to function properly. When we push a machine beyond its capabilities it eventually breaks down and we are no different. Give yourself the TLC that your body needs so you can come back even stronger when you actually do need to push through something important.

Believe in yourself. You can do it!!!
