Excerpts from Lower Body Mobility Day, part of my journey returning to the mats, and the last class of the program! Bittersweet. I really loved this program, and it did exactly and more than I wanted. To prepare me to return after being off so long with all the injuries.
PLEASE NOTE, these are only a fraction of the exercises; the complete program contains many more, with sequences, etc., which I’ve chosen not to share to respect the creator’s work.
Part of the Build the Basics 101 program by @coachstevensahyoun, which I used to rehab so as to return to martial arts safely, from the ridiculous spinal injuries and nerve damage. I can’t recommend this program enough! Nothing in it for me other than learning incredible body mechanics and functional foundation.
Stats: 53 y/o, 5,9, 165 lbs recovering from serious neck and back injuries plus nerve damage. All treated by Stem Cells at the @CellularPerformanceInstitute and recovering perfectly!
