Are You Better Off Than You Were Four Years Ago?

Heritage economist E.J. Antoni cites official government data coming from the Biden administration that clearly shows people are worse off today from when he took office. "In the press briefing room, there was an interesting sleight of hand by this administration, where they talked about how people are better off today compared to before the pandemic," Antoni said. "Note they did not say compared to when Biden took office. The only way we can make these statistics look good is by incorporating some of the time our predecessor was in office."
