TIMELINE
1 – 00:00:00 – Discussion on the interview by Paul Brennan and Ants (guest & owner of My Barber in Rotorua), on Reality Check radio about challenging covid fines from WorkSafe NZ.
Ants is getting now getting legal help from Liz’s friend Vinay, a lawyer not currently registered with the Law Society too – His business is called Mackenzie Friend, to have a hearing in front of a judge.
Ants’ website is called "My fight with WorkSafe" detailing his challenge and fundraiser.
Organise a group so other businesses can legally challenge WorkSafe as well.
Fundraiser for Amanda Turner, nurse who lost her job for speaking out against vaccines & another topic on her own private Facebook page. Department of internal Affairs have/had a portal and my have been responsible for sharing with her bosses.
She lost her cases at the Employment Authority and Employment Court, but an appeal was accepted to the Court of Appeal. Liz/Union picked the case up at the Employment court
Amanda incurred significant legal costs already and has been ordered to pay another $27k. Liz urges supporting her case financially as it will be important for free speech rights.

2 – 00:08:36 – Erika obtained information from an OIA request about COVID case and infection fatality rates in NZ. Erika’s latest OIA: “What is the infection fatality rate and the case fatality rate (CFR) for Covid-19. The case fatality rate given was 107 deaths per 100,000 reported cases from January-August 2022.
Lying by omission - Air-conditioning & Legionnaires
This rate of 1% is comparable to seasonal flu. Legionnaires' disease has a higher 15% rate.
The true fatality rate may be lower since not all cases were reported due to self-testing.
No information was provided on vaccination status of deaths.
Liz questions how the government spent billions without tracking this basic data.
Comparisons drawn to other respiratory illnesses like flu, which had lower annual death counts. Claims of mass deaths from media in early 2020 are VERY questionable, like the NY roller rink “full of bodies”

3 – 00:22:32– COVID death data including average ages and comorbidities has been publicly available on the NZ Ministry of Health website for some time.
The initial 23 COVID deaths in NZ had an average age of 82 and underlying health issues. Two were not actually tested for COVID - Chantelle Baker report.
Reports suggested flu shots given to elderly in rest homes may have increased COVID vulnerability.
Increasing amount of aged care facilities - Licence to occupy
Rest homes are discussed more as a real estate/money-making business than care facilities. Staff layoffs are occurring as numbers decline - Retirement Villages Act 2003
An October 2020 WHO report found COVID IFR below 1% for under 70s, contradicting restrictions. The Attorney General provided no justification.
Excess mortality in NZ is questioned if IFR is actually low. Seasonal illnesses are not currently causing deaths.
Upcoming authority decisions and new legal cases are discussed.

Lawyer Tudor Clee's interview discussed denied exemptions for medical reasons like pregnant women despite approvals for acts like The Wiggles.
The Defence Force was heavily involved in decision making despite lacking medical expertise. As was Megan Main.
8 of the 10 MIQ decision makers were reportedly women but their qualifications were questioned.
Abused pregnant women seeking refuge were denied entry based on "relationship issues".
Lies, dam lies and statistics - Judge talking about witnesses in court, Expert witnesses are the biggest "liars of the law" through selective omissions and representations. Potential biases of expert testimony.
Oaths in court - Witnesses and lawyers take an oath not to mislead the court.
Tudor Clay is seen as someone who understands the issues and it is suggested he join the union. Clarification is sought on expert witnesses in vaccination legal cases.

6 – 00:52:38 – OPEN CHAT: A granddaughter had severe stomach issues and vomiting, requiring ambulance but St John Ambulance failed to show up multiple times over 6 hours.
She had to be taken privately to hospital and had her appendix removed. Formal complaint filed about St John's response.
Criticism of St John getting $300M from government but still charging high fees for services.
Discussion of fire services being covered by insurance/levy but not ambulance.
Past negative culture and bullying at St John mentioned.
Example given of someone waiting 7 hours for broken leg and dying of internal bleeding.
