Kaitlin Armstrong has been handed a 90-year prison sentence for the murder of professional cyclist Anna Moriah “Mo” Wilson.

After several hours of deliberation on Friday, the jury reached the sentencing decision, which also included a $10,000 fine.

This sentence follows a guilty verdict for first-degree murder delivered by the jury in less than three hours the day before, ABC News reports.

Wilson, a 25-year-old emerging gravel racer, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds at a friend’s residence in Austin, Texas, on May 11, 2022, in what police initially characterized as a targeted homicide.
