Bartram Trail High School Body Shames Female Students with HORRIBLE Photoshop FAILS in Yearbook

In May 2021 the Bartram Trail High school near Jacksonville, Florida photoshopped over 80 female students without their knowledge or consent for images they deemed to not meet school dress code guidelines. These images were apparently distracting and inappropriate.

To see the images before and after that were altered by the school, to sign the petition, and to see the news articles written about this situation please visit:

All Photoshop edits were done to female students. No male students, including boys who were part of the swim team who wore speedos for their pictures were edited.

The images were not edited by the photographer who took the images. They were altered by a teacher on staff who serves as the Yearbook Coordinator. To make matters worse the images were photoshopped in a very unprofessional, demeaning and humiliating manner towards the female students.

Several articles have been written about this situation from the New York Times, USA Today, Washington Post and more. Furthermore, what about the photographer who had their work massacred by this Yearbook Coordinator. Was it done with their consent? We don't know.

I thank you for watching and invite you to leave a comment and share the video so we can hear what you think. This is definitely wrong and sends a horrible message to our young female students.

Thanks for watching,

Jason Lanier Photography
