How to Light Your Photo Session When There's No Sunlight- Abandoned Photo shoot in the Amazon

Ever Wonder what to do when you show up for a photo shoot and there’s not enough natural light? Do you struggle with lighting indoors with continuous lighting? This video is for you!

And it was shot in an incredible location in the middle of the Ecuadorian Amazon by world traveling photographer Jason Lanier.

Jason found this abandoned structure while journeying through the Amazon during a recent expedition. While at first he believed this was a hotel, he came to find out this was actually an old University that the government of Ecuador shut down. Jason ventured inside with two models and a crew to discover this place and bring a shoot to you!

Jason originally planned to shoot this with natural light as he likes to do with abandoned structures. But when the clouds rolled in and cut the light, Jason brought out his Rotolight Aeos to serve as a way of mimicking the light effects of the sun. This is such an effective method to employ when you find yourself in a situation where you need to shoot but the lighting isn’t what you thought it was going to be.
