Not Everything I Do is a Success, But I Never Stop Trying...when I lost my Drone in the AMAZON.

Ever lost a drone? How about losing one in the middle of the Amazon? Along with all of your footage? How would you handle such a situation?

This was heartbreaking, sad, stupid, risky and funny all at the same time. I lost footage we’d just filmed at the native village we visited and that’s the first thing that went thru my head when the drone hit the water.

I originally wanted to take off from the land but due to time constraints it didn’t work out.

So I decided to launch from the canoe and when I did the wind coming through the canoe just took my drone away, smacking it on the pole. Hence my buddy that’s joined me on so many adventures was lost to the bottom of the River in the Amazon for an eternal sleep.

The funniest part of this video for me is @cristianhernandez030719 questions and the look on his face throughout the entire ordeal.

I also appreciate the moment of silence extended by everyone on the canoe including @neshatshoghi, @yumana.bellydancer once my “pajaro” was lost forever 😂

And yes this is my normal response to stress or a bad situation. I process it and move on. Don’t over emphasize on things you can’t control. Learn from them and move on my friends.

Success in life is about focusing and improving things that are within your power to control or change.

And yes I take many risks that very few people take, but it’s also why I live a life and have pictures that very few people have.

And I’ll never stop taking risks :)

Can’t have the highs without the lows ❤️

And now I’ll be coming back to Ecuador soon to explore the Amazon even deeper, and I can’t wait for this next adventure. But this time I’ll be launching my new “pajaro” from land 😂

Never give up on your dreams
