The HK MR 556 is the civilian version of the most iconic firearm to ever see the big screen, the HK 416. What makes the MR556 so special? The differentiating factor is its operating system. Unlike the AR's direct impingement gas system, the HK 416 utilizes a short stroke gas piston system. This is important for many reasons as I lay out in the video.
This rig comes out of the box at a quality 8.6 LBS. Yes, it is a bit heavier than your BCM but with that you get the highest quality product money can buy. I am not a fan of the price but once you experience shooting this it all starts to make sense.

I have owned and shot this rig for several months now and I have continued to be amazed with its performance. From running and gunning to long range, this thing makes shooting easy and fun. The fit and finish is nothing short of perfection. Although, these are built in GA these days you can feel the German engineering in the systems precision.
