(9/26/23) HCBOCC Budget Meeting - Defunding ALA - Kim Winker

On September 26, 2023, members of the Hernando County Chapter of Moms for Liberty, members from the Florida Christian Coalition out of Citrus County, and local parents joined together to call on the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners to officially defund and cut ties with the American Library Association (ALA).

The ALA is a misleading name for this neo-Marxist organization which is led by a devout LGBTQ+ Communist who has made it her goal to turn local libraries into centers of "Socialist Organization". Additionally, the ALA has spearheaded the national "drag queen storytime" sessions while openly calling on local libraries to block Kirk Cameron and Moms for Liberty from holding family-friendly events at public libraries.

This video showcases Kim Winker, Legislative Chair of the Hernando County Chapter of Moms for Liberty speaking against the ALA and calling on Hernando County Commissioners to defund and cut ties with the ALA.
