Chance joined the stream thinking he could trick Marty into confessing that HE, Marty, orchestrated this whole court case by paying off the Akron PD(and the DA office) to "falsely" charge Chance with the assault. And get Marty to confess that he somehow assaulted Chance on 3/3. It went as well as anyone would have thought, Chance just incriminated himself even more.
