World Highest Shiva temple || Tungnath Temple Trek

Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world and is the highest of the five Panch Kedar temples located in the Rudraprayag district, in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.

The trek begins at Chopta, a small village located at an altitude of 2680 metres. The trek to Tungnath is about 4 km long and takes 3-4 hours to complete. The trail is easy to navigate and takes trekkers through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests.
