Thanksgiving Marshmallow Treat

Delicious toasted marshmallows.

If you are new to toasting marshmallows, it’s better if someone with experience is with you. Adult supervision of course. If you toast any, do so at your own risk. Plus, not every person likes them burnt☺️I do! Thanks to my mother, she taught me.

I placed several touching each other, on a metal skewer or 1-2 per fork.
Metal is safer than wood. Wooden branches and especially wooden skewers can catch fire or break.

I made sure to be safe. I held mine away from my body. Pointed up and away and not toward anybody else or near anything that can catch on fire.
I lit first bottom marshmallow with a lighter and the rest caught fire on their own. If wind knocked the flame out, then I relit.
After toasted, waited about 15-20 seconds or until cool enough to eat.

Last time I ate them was about 8 years ago, and years before that. Usually made with leftover marshmallows from Thanksgiving recipes.
