He Knows Your Affliction

Isaiah 63:9 “In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.

Affliction [Hebrew 6040]: troubled, weakened, poverty, or misery.

Affliction [Greek 2347]: pressing together (grapes or olives), tribulation, distress, or straits.

The Avenger of Blood, our kinsman redeemer, fulfilled all the requirements to reverse Adam’s sin and cloth us with a Robe of Righteousness. The Jewish widow found justice with an unrighteous judge. The Parable of the Lost Sheep, and the song, “Oh, how He loves You and Me.”
