The pattern of saying that something is or is not harmless or is or is not possible over a period of time enough time, and something can happen that couldn’t happen in a short period of time to me, is the inversion of the argument that something is harmless in small amounts even over a long period of time because we see harm coming to people who use synthetic chemical substitutes in foods even in small amounts over a long period of time are harmful.
