Are Vaginal Ozone Insufflations a Systemic Treatment?

Most published ozone doctors either ignore vaginal ozone insufflations, or say they’re only a local treatment.

Yet, the Madrid Declaration on Ozone Therapy says in its 3rd edition from 2020 that vaginal ozone insufflations are an even more powerful treatment than MAH, major autohemotherapy, which is an intravenous type of ozone therapy, or rectal insufflations.

How do they come to this conclusion? Are there studies to back up their claims?

Are there case reports which allow for this assumption? I believe so.
