Final Fantasy XI Sunbreeze 2016 -Special-

Heya all! Becky Beckerson here once again to celebrate Sunbreeze 2016! Amazing and a surprise at the same time might I add! While I did originally unsubscribed from 11 about almost a year ago since our runs we're done with WoTG four months prior. I held onto my account to celebrate one final Sunbreeze. Indeed and this year is no different.

While I had thoughts about subscribing just for this one month and prob this one and only time simply because of principle and nostalgic reasons. If you look at my channel, Sunbreeze is my FAVORITE 11 event! As I've hosted numerous events in the past, and before even video making I held events and contests of all sorts. Every year when August was approaching people would ask me "Heya Bek, are you hosting another event this year? ^_^"

SE was doing their "Free to play for 10 days Return to Van'diel" deal. I got an email not too long ago and sure enough was DURING the beginning of the Sunbreeze event! I had nothing to lose and all the gain so I installed 11 once again. Though it took 8 hours to do so, this includes updates and sorts!

Sadly, I mention in the video as I do the Sunbreeze event that they did no continuation of the mini-story we get each with Mumor and her trusty companion Uka. It's the same event as last year with the SAME rewards. The conclusion of the story shows when you get Mumor as trust magic (see in last years video). The only exception is that you could purchase the final NPC involved in the event via login points Ullagore. So as you see them bow (in last years video) that was their 'curtain call' hence why it's called that. I myself, was expecting a continuation as she says "I'll make a better song next time so stay tuned!". I wish they wouldn't have said that. Unfortunately , she says the same spiel. This being the first time the event is unchanged tells me that 11 is indeed fading away from this world. While 14 is fun, it's no 11 and 11 will always be dear to my heart. If 11 ever becomes a social fun game again (less than 300 people on and we KNOW most of those are dual wielders/mules) I'd join in a heart beat.

Regardless of that matter.... join me more time as I reflect and look at FF11 as well as enjoy the dance event that I always hold dear to my heart each and every year.
