Beware shattering car sunroofs

Consumer Reports says its has been notified of shattering sunroofs in 208 models over 35 brands. The federal government is investigating the 2011-2013 Kia Sorrento models, but some experts that that investigation needs to be expanded. Experts report that the problem is that sunroofs used to be much smaller and regulations date back to 25 years ago and need to be updated.
