DOOMED?? What if Only Single Stacks Existed??

What would our world look like if the double stack never was invented? If we only had today's crop of single stacks pistols to choose from for all our uses. . . What would I pick? In this comparison, I could not have a Glock 26, a Glock 40, a Walther PPQ, Walther PDP, Smith & Wesson M&P 9, FN 509, Springfield Hellcat, Springfield XDm, Sig Sauer P365, SIg P365XL, Sig P226, Sig P229, etc.
