The Nag Hammadi Library is a collection of ancient religious texts found in 1945 in Egypt. These texts, primarily Gnostic in nature, offer insights into early Christian and Gnostic beliefs and were buried in the 4th century CE to protect them from destruction during a period of theological conflict.
