A couple of mornings ago during prayer I became very deeply touched about this powerful gift entrusted to us. I began tearfully thanking Jesus over and over. Then I felt a pause come over me and I sat there in His Presence.

Without expecting it I heard these words enter into my mind, "Greater works than these shall ye do." (John 14:12). As I thought about these unexpected words, He spoke yet again saying, "All power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye..." (Matt. 28:18).

He did not finish the entire sentence, but said, "Go ye."

I understood what He was saying to me that the greater works are in prayer. Its hard to describe but what we cannot do because of limitations Jesus can do magnanimously. Our prayers then soar in the greatest heights of heaven. There is no end of the possibilities.

We see from greater vantage points in and through Jesus' name and His life. Prayer becomes not just our greater works, but the greatest works we will ever do in this life time.

Remember, Jesus never fails, He is never a dry well; He is never a setting sun, a passing meteor or melting vapor. "All power in Heaven and Earth have been given unto Me....Go ye." Pray believing in Jesus name.

"In intercession our King upon the throne finds His highest glory; in it we shall find our highest glory too." ~ Andrew Murray
