THE TREASURE OF GREAT PRICE IN THE FIELD

"THERE'S GOLD IN THEM THERE, HILLS."
When that declaration echoed through the nation, we were forever changed. The gold rush was on, and the development of this great continent we live on was completed. All of this was motivated by a discovered treasure in the field. Because of that, people worldwide sold all they had and bought tickets to California and Alaska.
With that same zeal, we have discovered the treasure buried in our very persons for the pearl of great price Christ lives within.
We have been given the secret of how to proceed from here. The scriptures tell us to seek the Lord with all our hearts; when we do, we will find him.
I read a famous little book on the subject of buried treasure some time ago. The word had circled the Earth about riches to be discovered in the mountains of some foreign country. A certain man was determined to find riches, so he sold his place and traveled the world looking for his bonanza.
After years of frustration and failure, he decided to return home and discovered that they had found the greatest treasure you could imagine in the place where he used to live. He had lived on it all this time and didn't even know it.
You and I contain:
The treasures of heaven.
The pearl of great price.
The fullness of the Godhead bodily.
It tells us in no uncertain terms that the Holy Spirit moved in and dwells in us.
The scriptures tell us in Romans 10 that the spirit of Christ, the same one in Christ, dwells in you, and that spirit will quick and your natural body.
I encourage you to look within, as the ancient mystic referred to it as the castle that God dwells in.
There are so many rooms within us that we have yet to discover. Each one contains God's creative spirit, which dwells in you.
