Iran's Call For Oil Embargo Rejected at OIC Summit in Saudi Arabia | Vantage with Palki Sharma

A joint emergency summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League was held in Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

57 Islamic countries gathered to discuss the Israel-Hamas war. The countries all demanded a ceasefire and condemned Israel.

But the nations could not agree on any punitive action against Tel Aviv. Iran wanted to arm Palestinians and impose an oil embargo on Israel.

But the other Muslim countries rejected Tehran's suggestions. Palki Sharma tells you more.
