John Franklin Elrod, Just Another Gun-Toting JFK Assassination Clown

Elrod, the basis for the La Fontaines' wacky "Oswald Works For The FBI Theory," is really just another fired hand of the assassins. The theory is very clever, as it takes a real story that really does implicate Jack Ruby in a gun running event. The Fontaine's spend a great deal of time on that angle,and that impresses on the impressionable mind the veracity of the whole shebang. But the linchpin of the theory which links Oswald to the FBI as an informer of this gun running, that linchpin is imaginary. There's nothing here. Sure, it implicates Jack Ruby in a gun running scheme, but we already knew he did stuff like that. This theory utter bullshit. But Elrod really was arrested as a result of a report of a man carrying a rifle on the railroad tracks on the day that JFK was shot, so the bullshit functions to bury that fact in a shit storm of misaligned facts.
