Law Suit Shows that Newsguard is paid by Feds

In May 2021, L. Gordon Crovitz, a media executive turned start-up investor, pitched Twitter executives on a powerful censorship tool.
The site, Newsguard, sells software, including browser plugins and back-end codes, that purport to perform an unbiased analysis of news sources.
As it turns out, the government may have been paying them to conduct censorship activities for the Feds!
