Hey, subscribers.

The last year of my life has been pretty life changing. I took a break from Lucas Builds The Future because I felt like there was more I could do with my life and instead I decided to try to do the hardest thing I've ever done: Pillow.

Don't get me wrong, doing projects for the internet is awesome (and I plan to be doing a lot more of them now that Pillow is out), but I also wanted to see if I could go beyond YouTube and create real innovative products that could change people's lives... and of course, change how they look at technology as a whole.

And so I did that in the form of Pillow, which has a lot of firsts:
- It's the first immersive (VR/AR) app to be designed for lying down in bed.
- It's the first app that lets two people share a bed together virtually.
- It's the first immersive app making full use of up-and-coming Artificial Intelligence technologies in a pretty big way.

There's a lot more to this story, but long story short: creating this was an insane challenge: not only did we have to create an entirely new way of experiencing MR (no app "just works" when you lie down, but you have to design the whole thing around that format), on top of that we had to create 4 compelling experiences that people would be excited to come back to every day.

And after a lot of work, I think we achieved that. And this is just the beginning :)

So I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, my audience, for being patient. Thank you to all my Patreon subscribers for giving me the financial support I needed to get this through the finish line (if it wasn't for my Patreon supporters I literally would have become homeless while building this). And thank YOU for taking the time not only to watch this video but to read the description all the way down.

You're amazing and I'll be posting videos again soon on Youtube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels. Perhaps I'll do long-form on YouTube again - we'll see. Would love to know if you miss those videos or if you don't care.

Either way, love ya. Thank you.
