Storm Shield Forecast morning update 1/1/17

It will be sunny and seasonal today with a Bakersfield high of 73 and great air quality. The "check before you burn program" begins today, and with good air quality there are no restrictions but burning is discouraged. The Kern River Valley will top out at a high of 71 with the mid-60s in Tehachapi and Frazier Park this afternoon.
