Mr. Jeremy Dery is an American-Israeli citizen who was raised in France and America, and graduated from Drew University with a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies. Jeremy received his Masters in Diplomacy and Mediation from Tel Aviv University. Jeremy is multilingual (English, French, Hebrew) and has worked in various management roles for the Dan Hotel chain and the David Citadel Hotel as Deputy Manager for Diplomatic Guest Relations.

Before entering the hotel world, Jeremy worked in the Israeli Knesset with Likud minister Ayoob Kara, and interned with the State of Israel Hasbara Ministry. Jeremy has assisted various pro-Israel groups as guest speaker, discussing various issues relating to the "Peace Process" and how to be more active within Israeli political circles.

Mr. Jeremy Dery College Story:

Jeremy's personal journey with Israel started during his Sophomore year at Drew University, located in New Jersey. Majoring in Political Science, with a Minor in Middle East Studies, Jeremy decided to apply for a semester abroad during his sophomore year at Tel Aviv University. Initially Drew University rejected Jeremy's application due to the advice of Drew University's insurance carrier that Israel would not be a safe place.

Jeremy decided to fight Drew University’s decision. He enlisted the support of the MetroWest Jewish community, Israeli consulate, Anti-Defamation League, and Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie. After several weeks, Drew University agreed to change its study abroad policy.

After returning from his studies abroad, Jeremy organized an event on the Drew University campus to promote study, travel, and internship in Israel. Participating were representatives from the Jewish Agency, Birthright, Israeli universities, and El Al Airlines. Jeremy then created groups on Facebook and a personal blog on The Times of Israel in order to educate the public as to the facts and events facing Israel.
