Come Tour a Vego Garden in Rosemount, MN, with @smallscalegardening

Yesterday I drove past a cool garden in Rosemount, Minnesota. I literally did a U-turn to come back to this great looking garden and take this video.

What struck me was the almost exclusive use of Vego Garden planters, trellises and solar lights.

I don’t know about you, but my Facebook feed has been clogged with Vego Garden advertisements. I hadn’t seen these planters in the real world, so I wanted to check them out.

The gardeners had several different types of planters and trellis systems. I was impressed with how sturdy the trellises were. They locked into the ribs of the planters, and looking at their website, the trellises DO NOT have any spikes into the soil. That is impressive since those trellises were STRONG! You can see me push on the trellises during the video.

The garden has a nice tool shed, greenhouse and compost bin at the back (east side) of the garden.

The gardeners spread wood chips in the walking areas and paths between planters, and while there were some weeds here and there, it is the end of the season. Those weeds could be easily pulled.

This is a nice, neat and organized garden. It was very well done, and I really liked the look of the Vego Garden Planters and strength of the trellises.
