Israeli forces expel Hamas from al-Rantisi and storm the al-Shifa hospital in a targeted attack.

In an attempt to locate a Hamas base, the IDF overran Gaza's al-Shifa hospital. On camera, elite troops were seen conducting a "targeted attack" on the location, which houses hundreds of patients and is Gaza's largest hospital. There are tunnels beneath it that are believed to house Hamas's primary base. A few streets away from al-Shifa, the al-Rantisi hospital was cleared by troops and special forces of Shayetet 13 in a separate operation. They demonstrated how Hamas had built a base beneath the center, stocked with weapons, ammo, and explosives. Additionally, there was signs of subterranean detention while the IDF looked for the 240 captives that Hamas had taken on October 7.
