Dad saved sons life

In 2015, George Pickering, a Texas father, saved his son's life when doctors wrongly declared him brain-dead and wanted to take him off life support. He barricaded himself with a gun in the hospital room and had a 3-hour standoff with a SWAT team until his son squeezed his hand. His son made a full recovery.
