Spark Gap Battery Charging

Here I use a small 1.5 to 6 volts DC flyback high voltage module to quickly produce a DC spark gap of a little over 1kv for very little input current. It works on "dead" 1.5 volt batteries even! (joule thief)

I setup some magnets near the gap to help with sharp radiant spike. of quickly turning off the gap magnetic effect,

I have a Tesla Coil setup in reverse, That is the gap feeds the primary Tesla Coil high impedance high winding side.

And I rectify from the bottom flat coil low impedance side setup as the secondary. this gives me moderate voltage and current pulses in DC. of around 60 volts. This charges up my 12 volt batteries quickly again with very little current input usage. It even works for some hours with just a 1.5 volt battery as input trigger!!! Now that's a gain to see the battery rise from 11 to 12.7 with just a 1.5 volt battery before it goes "dead"

A few "Secrets" here. The magnet arrangements for the gap switching. and the Tesla Coil in reverse.
