NOTE ON THE 11-12-23 CLASS
We covered several topics that are related by themes that will become apparent as you watch.

CORRECTIONS TO MY STATEMENTS AT THE 11-12-23 CLASS
>> From 22:24 (or earlier) to at least 23:04 I said that none of the authors of the New Testament understood the teachings of Jesus, with the exceptions of the authors of Mark and John. I should have added Revelation to that list, and I need to double-check James. Aside from those books, I stand by what I said.
>> At about 26:30 and again at 26:50, I said that Jesus quoted Hosea 4:6. In fact Jesus quoted Hosea 6:6 and not 4:6. See Matthew 9:13 and 12:7. However, the meaning of Jesus’ statement at Matthew 12:7 is almost identical to what Hosea said at 4:6 – the reason for human suffering is lack of knowledge.
>> At 27:50 to 27:58, “the knowledge that you’ve seen” was meant to be “the knowledge that you need.”
>> At 37:54 to 38:02, I said “a bunch of the inner circle, the guys who had come from Bethsaida.” The gospel records that seven apostles were there, five of whom are named. Of those named, Peter and the sons of Zebedee came from Bethsaida. We are not told whether the two not named are the other two apostles from Bethsaida: Philip and Andrew.
>> At 1:20:07 to 1:20:10, “he quotes Isaiah nine ten” was meant to be “he quotes Isaiah six verses nine and ten.”
