Pretty Northern Cardinal Female

Back Yard Birds Hawai’i this is Ol Dog Faces daughter she’s about a year and a half old and we are guessing she can’t reproduce since no males are courting her but what do we know she is an extremely friendly gal with a sweet personality she rarely chirps but comes near our master bedroom Sliding Glass Door such that we notice her it’s her way of asking for the seed bowl where her mother chirps loudly for the seeds it’s truly amazing just how intelligent these birds are we have several birds that visit us to eat but the Northern Cardinals are truly special and very gentle birds the males are typically neurotic and just weird but he too visits on occasion
