Daylily also known as Yellow Daylily flower

Yellow daylilies are a type of perennial plant that produce beautiful yellow flowers. They grow up to 80 centimeters high and have belt-shaped, arched overhanging leaves that are up to 65 centimeters long. The bell-like, six-fold flowers of the yellow daylily appear on slender stems up to 9 centimeters wide and are star-shaped and shine in a clear lemon yellow. They spread a very special “perfume”: their fragrance is described as orange or lily of the valley like. The flowers only last for one day, but new ones open every day.
