From Dying to Thriving ~ Receiving Blessings & Release from Curses

In this episode of Forthright & Funny, I will share why BLESSINGS and CURSES are very real.

1. Blessings and Curses go hand in hand. Believing in one without the other; is like saying I believe there’s an up but not a down. A left but not a right.
2. Examples of BLESSINGS is
1. Genesis 1:27-29 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.
2. Gen 22:16 I will multiply your descendants! All the nations will be blessed bc Abraham obeyed
3. Gen 27 Isaac blessed Jacob. Cursed those who curse you and bless those who bless you. Vs 33 I blessed JACOB and indeed he shall be blessed! (It was prophetic! Supernatural.)
4. Proverbs 26:2 shows us that curses come with a cause! Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow So a curse without cause shall not alight.
5. Gen 12:1-3 GOD (7-fold call and destiny of Abraham. The sixth is a CURSE! (God built in a protective clause for Abraham! Antisemitism!)
6. Deuteronomy 27:11 When Israel came into the promised land. IDOLOTRY (occult).
7. Jeremiah 17:5-6 “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes.
8. Joshua 6:26 Joshua pronounced a curse upon anyone who would rebuild the city of Jericho. 1 Kings 16:34 34 In Ahab’s time, Hiel of Bethel rebuilt Jericho. He laid its foundations at the cost of his firstborn son Abiram, and he set up its gates at the cost of his youngest son Segub, in accordance with the word of the Lord spoken by Joshua son of Nun.
9. 2 Samuel 1:21 David’s song after the death of Saul and Jonathon. A thousand years before Christ and now over 2000 years after Christ there is NO green VEGETATION on that MOUNTAIN in Israel! Gilboa
10. 2 KINGS 5:26 But Elisha said to him, “Was not my spirit with you when the man got down from his chariot to meet you? Is this the time to take money or to accept clothes—or olive groves and vineyards, or flocks and herds, or male and female slaves? 27 Naaman’s leprosy will cling to you and to your descendants forever.” Then Gehazi went from Elisha’s presence and his skin was leprous—it had become as white as snow.
11. Matt 21:18-22 Jesus Curses a Fig Tree and tells his disciples “You can also say to this mountain, “Go throw yourself into the sea and it will be done!”
12. Gen 31:32 Jacob unknowingly cursed Rachel who died in childbirth.
13. Matt 27:24-25 Trial of Jesus by Pontus Pilate. “His blood be on us and our children!”

2. Chronic sicknesses
3. Repeated miscarriage
4. Breakdown marriage and family alienation (witchcraft)
5. Financial insufficiency
6. Accident prone
7. History of suicid or unnatural death (Kennedy family)
4. How to pass from CURSE TO BLESSING
1. GAL 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law… Cursed is everyone hung on a tree. The death on the cross brought on an exchange!! Notice the exchange! He was wounded so that we might be healed. He died so we might live! He was made a curse do the we can receive blessing! He bore the curse! Vs 13 the word curse appears three times! Don’t entertain the thought that there’s no reality in a curse anytime Jesus took it on! God wouldn’t have made a provision if it weren’t real!
2. Deliverance Is based upon faith in what Jesus did!
