This past week, an eight-month-old baby named Indi Gregory passed away after the UK government chose to pull her life support plug. This occurred despite repeated appeals by the parents, a personal invitation to the Vatican hospital for treatment, and the government of Italy granting Indi citizenship and treatment options.
