Shawn Robert Johnson is a Father, Grandfather, Business Owner, Author, Poet, and Motivational Speaker, who has been serving a 60 year prison sentence.
However, He has not let his circumstances define him.

Despite being incarcerated for the past 16 years, for what ultimately was Self Defense.
Shawn has used writing and motivational speaking as a way to stay positive and inspire others.
With the help of family and friends, he uses his Instagram account, with over
17k followers, to get his message heard.

He joins us via phone from inside New Jersey State, Maximum Security Prison in Trenton, N.J.
