Taurus GX4XL Unsafe

I don't know how to put it any other way and be brief. My GX4XL is unsafe to use for personal protection. Between the risk of the magazine accidently dropping out, and the potential for a trigger malfunction, I can't consider it reliable. An unreliable weapon is an unsafe weapon. So what would you do?
