Bernie Sanders Stops Fist-Fight Between Republican and Union Boss During Hearing

A Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions hearing was disrupted by Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) when he brought attention to a previous tweet from Teamsters President Sean O’Brien and openly challenged him to a physical altercation right in the hearing room.

The ongoing exchange of verbal jabs between Mullin and O’Brien has spanned several months.

Earlier in the summer, the Republican senator had even proposed a charitable fight against O’Brien as a means to settle their differences.
