The Ukrainian Army continues to increase the intensity of offensive operations in the South.
According to a statement by Tavria group commander Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi on 12 November, Ukrainian Forces eliminated 572 enemy soldiers and 32 units of military equipment in the south of the country in one day.
"About 572 invaders were eliminated and 32 units of Russian military equipment were destroyed, including 2 tanks, 14 infantry fighting vehicles, 3 cannons and 2 anti-tank missile systems," Tarnavskyi said.
"Russian troops have increased the number of air strikes, including the use of guided aerial bombs in the southern part of the front." He added.
Reporting the increase in Russian attacks, the Ukrainian military also provided information on counter-attack operations. The Ukrainian army destroyed four ammunition depots and an unnamed Russian military base and damaged 21 military equipment.
Tarnavsky reported that Ukrainian rocket and artillery forces carried out 1,067 strikes in the Tavria region over the past day. Meanwhile, Ukraine's offensive operation against Melitopol continues.
According to the latest update from the General Staff, another 1,100 Russian invaders have been neutralised in Ukraine in the last 24 hours, bringing the total losses since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion to approximately 312,000.
