The Sound of Sirens

Family and friends of yours and mine
Were stolen long before their time
Victims of media and government
Propaganda that would not relent
They were told their salvation would be waiting at the needles' end
And so they went
Then came the sound
Of sirens ...

Others live in constant pain
Their lives could never be the same
Injuries that they can never heal
Collapsing suddenly on football fields
I know people finding partners unconscious on their kitchen floors
And it's hours before
They'll hear the sound of sirens

And now these rapid cancers roar
Just weeks from stages 1 through 4
Why haven't we had our discussion yet?
About the shocking surge in excess deaths?
I know a family where two children tried in vain to shake their Mum awake
It was too late
Then came the sound of sirens

Too many times we've heard their lies
The truth they'll always try to hide
A boy they poisoned only weeks before
He was only 14 years old
Pharmaceutical giants playing games with those consumed by grief
With the family
Who'd heard the sound of sirens

And what about our elderly?
Locked away where none could see
Canon fodder in this total scam
Easy pickings for Midazolam
The caved-off senicide embedded in the care home walls
It echoes through the halls
